We have recently completed a three year CFRP grant for the BLM to thin 120 acres in the Carson National Forest on Pot Mountain, northeast of Taos, New Mexico. The goals for this project are to minimize forest fires, improve the habit for the native wildlife, train youth and to provide fire wood for the local residents. Wood Sharks has also partnered with the Red Willow Farmers Market, at the Taos Pueblo, to supply firewood to heat their greenhouses for year round food production.
